Dear Clients & Friends,
I’d like to introduce Benjamin Pease, our Managing Director of Fixed Income and Chief Innovation Officer, here at Cumberland Advisors. In talking with many folks over the past several weeks, we’ve received feedback that some of you missed the announcement of Ben joining the firm, so I’d like to provide a provide a quick email summary.
Ben Pease brings with him more than 20 years of investment management experience including over nine years at Breckinridge Capital Advisors in Boston as Head of Trading, and prior to that, roles at TD Asset Management and Fidelity Investments. Ben’s prior proven success and tangible contributions have been very impactful and we are excited to have him join our team! In addition to fixed income portfolio management and trading, Ben has a passion for innovation and developing tools to deliver exceptional service and products to our clients. Ben also immediately joins our Investment Committee having served on both the Investment and Risk Committees at prior firms. We appreciate his leadership and contributions thus far and have our eye on his anticipated future successes with us.
Ben reports directly to me, the Director of Fixed Income at Cumberland Advisors, and he will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the Fixed Income department and also drive technology initiatives that enhance our investment management capabilities.
Since our founding 50 years ago with David R. Kotok and Shep Goldberg, we have continued to believe relationships, communication, and thoughtful market dialogue are foundational to our business.
