To all of our clients, readers, audience, and friends,
We hope you all are enjoying the holiday season in what has remained an extremely challenging year. It has been a year where we continue to fight COVID, now heading into the fifth wave. We have good equity markets, if uneven across different capitalizations. We have inflation numbers which have been rising since last spring and a Federal Reserve which is now just reacting to them. We have bond yields significantly below the rate of inflation adding to the debate over whether inflation is transitory or not.
As we come to the end of the year we hope that all of you stay safe and enjoy the holidays with family. The challenges of financial markets will be there for us starting January 3rd. But please know we appreciate all of your support and look forward to giving you our best analysis in 2022.
