As we pause for this most traditional of American holidays, I have included a thanksgiving poem that I have liked (and I like many) from Ella Wilcox...
We ought to make the moments notes
Of happy, glad Thanksgiving;
The hours and days a silent phrase
Of music we are living.
And so the theme should swell and grow
As weeks and months pass o’er us,
And rise sublime at this good time,
A grand Thanksgiving chorus.
I always say to invite someone who is alone over every Thanksgiving and Super Bowl Sunday. No one should be alone!
And drop your scales back 10 lbs and enjoy your holiday :)
Have a great Thanksgiving.
