As we celebrate the birthday of America and wish each other safe travels, let’s take a moment and consider the veterans who protect and defend us.
Here’s a 25-minute interview with three vets. It was aired locally (Sarasota, FL) during Memorial Day weekend (linked here and repeated below: https://youtube.com/watch?v=nnebjNVs79o).
Major General Gray is a Sarasota friend and the president of an all-volunteer charitable organization called Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge (combatwounded.org). I personally support and contribute to this 501(c)(3), which is trying to expand its program so it can add veterans to the challenge program. And CWVC has a challenge grant that can currently provide a matching amount up to $100,000.
